SEO and AI search

SEO agency in London

SEO that brings in enquiries and sales, run by the people who do the work and reported on a live dashboard you can open any time.

Rankings are not the goal. Customers are.

It is easy to report that a site ranks for 400 keywords. Most of them will be words nobody buys from. We start from the other end: which searches bring in customers for your business, how much each one is worth, and what it will take to rank for them.

Then we do the work and show you the result in enquiries, bookings and sales. If a ranking does not move the numbers that pay the bills, we tell you, and we move on to one that does.

What our SEO service includes

Technical SEO

Google has to find, read and trust your pages before any of them can rank. We crawl your site with Screaming Frog, check indexing in Search Console and fix what is holding you back: broken links, redirect chains, duplicate pages, missing canonical tags, slow templates and pages Google cannot render.

We also fix Core Web Vitals, the three speed and stability scores Google measures on real visits. In plain English: how fast the main content appears (Largest Contentful Paint), how quickly the page reacts when someone taps (Interaction to Next Paint), and whether things jump around while it loads (Cumulative Layout Shift).

On-page SEO and content

We map every important keyword to one page, so your pages stop competing with each other. Then we rewrite titles, headings and copy so each page answers what the searcher wants. Where a page is missing, we brief and write it: service pages, location pages, comparison pages and guides.

We write for people first. Google’s own guidance rewards pages that show real experience and expertise, so we interview you and use your knowledge, not generic copy.

Local SEO

If you serve customers in London, the map pack often matters more than the blue links. We set up and manage your Google Business Profile, build citations, plan your review requests and create location pages for the areas you serve. See our local SEO service.

Links and mentions

Links from relevant, trusted sites still move rankings. We earn them through things other sites want to reference: data, local stories, supplier and partner pages, industry directories and press. We do not buy links or use private blog networks. Both break Google’s spam policies and can sink a site.

AI search (GEO)

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews build their answers from pages that already rank, so good SEO is the base of AI visibility. On every SEO account we also check what the assistants say about you and fix the gaps. Read how our GEO work fits in.

Tracking and reporting

We set up or fix Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Search Console, and track the actions that matter: calls, forms, bookings and sales. All of it feeds a Data Studio dashboard that updates every morning.

How we work

  1. 1

    Audit

    Weeks 1 to 3

We audit your site, rankings, competitors, tracking and AI visibility, and agree the goals with you.

  2. 2

    90-day plan

You get a written plan with priorities, who does what, and the numbers we expect to move.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

    Months 1 to 3

Technical fixes and tracking first, because everything else depends on them.

  4. 4

    Build

    Months 2 to 6

New and improved pages, local SEO, and links, in monthly sprints.

  5. 5

    Review and grow

A monthly review call, a new 90-day plan each quarter, and more keywords, areas or channels once the first ones pay back.

What to expect, and when

SEO is slower than ads. This is the pattern we see in most markets.

When What usually happens
Weeks 1 to 4 Audit done, tracking fixed, the first technical fixes live
Months 2 to 3 Pages start to move up for lower competition keywords; Google recrawls the fixed pages
Months 4 to 6 Enquiries from organic search start to rise; local rankings improve
Months 6 to 12 Rankings for the competitive terms; steady growth you can plan around

How fast it goes depends on your market, your site’s history and how quickly changes go live. We set a target for each stage and report against it.

London

SEO in London is a different market

London is one of the most competitive places in the UK to rank. A search for a service in Soho returns different results from the same search in Croydon, and the map pack changes from street to street. Many of your competitors are already paying an agency.

That changes how we plan. We decide early whether you need one strong London page or separate pages for the boroughs and areas you serve, such as Westminster, Camden, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea or Canary Wharf. We track rankings from several points across the city, not one. And we look for the searches your competitors have missed, which in London is often where the early wins are.

We also work with clients across the UK and abroad, from our Oxford Street office and our office in Dubai.

SEO consultant or SEO agency?

A consultant gives you advice and a plan. Your own team, or your developer, carries it out. That works well if you have people with time to do the work.

An agency does the work as well: technical fixes, content, links and reporting. That suits businesses without in-house marketers, or with a small team that needs more hands.

We do both. Some clients hire us to audit, plan and guide their in-house team each month. Others hand the whole thing over. Either way, the person advising you is a founder.

How to choose an SEO agency in London

Whoever you hire, ask these questions first.

  • Who will do the work? Get names. Ask how many accounts each person runs.
  • Do I own everything? Your Analytics, Search Console, Business Profile and content should be in your name.
  • How do you report? Ask to see a sample report. Look for enquiries and sales, not just rankings.
  • What do you promise? Walk away from anyone who guarantees first place. Google does not sell rankings.
  • How do you build links? Ask for examples of links they have earned.
  • What are the contract terms? A short first term and a rolling contract mean they have to keep earning your business.
  • What about AI search? Ask how they track mentions in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers.

What our SEO audit covers

Every project starts with an audit. You keep it whatever you decide next.

  • Crawl of every page: status codes, redirects, canonical tags, duplicate and thin pages.
  • Indexing: which pages Google has indexed, excluded or ignored in Search Console, and why.
  • Core Web Vitals on mobile, from real visitor data where Google has it.
  • Keyword map: which pages rank for what, where pages compete with each other, and which searches have no page at all.
  • Competitor gap: the searches and links your closest competitors have and you do not.
  • Content: pages that are thin, out of date or written for search engines instead of people.
  • Links: who links to you, any risky links, and realistic sites to earn links from.
  • Local signals: Business Profile, citations and reviews, if you serve local customers.
  • Tracking: whether GA4, Tag Manager and Search Console record calls, forms and sales correctly.
  • AI visibility: what ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI features say about you today.

You get the findings as a ranked list: what to fix first, why, and roughly how long each item takes.

Who we work with in London

Most of our SEO clients are service businesses and online shops: salons and beauty brands, hospitality, automotive services, retail and ecommerce. They share two things. Their customers search before they buy, and their competitors already invest in search. If your market is very different, we will tell you in the first call whether we are the right fit.

Reporting

Reporting you can open any time

Every client gets their own Data Studio dashboard, updated every morning. It shows rankings, organic traffic, calls, forms, bookings and sales in one place, next to Google Ads and Business Profile data if we run those too. Once a month we walk you through what moved, why, and what we are doing next.
